The object as a film and the film as an object, or filmmaking as a design practice. This is a roundabout story about Alexandre Humbert – commissioned by Gabrielle Kennedy for Damn Magazine.
Collaborating with designers, artists, museums, galleries, schools, music composers, curators, and editors in his long-term series "Object Interview", Alexandre Humbert's design practice gives voices to objects from all around the world.

Our protagonist – Alexandre Humbert, French designer, filmmaker and storyteller, based in Amsterdam.
The scene – Schiphol Airport, terminal seating room, Saturday 19th of January 2018, 2pm.
The subject – "How do you consider filmmaking as a design practice?" a 1h 7m 36s conversation around a fictional coffee.
